<h3><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">In January 2023, Ronna Romney McDaniel was re-elected for a third term as Chairwoman of the RNC, despite grassroots calls for Harmeet Dhillion&#8217;s election being disregarded. The RNC&#8217;s consistent disconnect from everyday American voters and grassroots conservatives is compounded by self-serving figures within its ranks. These actions overshadow the genuine patriots upholding the party&#8217;s values. In response, a movement emerged to revive the Republican Party. </span> </span></h3>
<h3><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">This movement, spearheaded by Turning Point Action, has taken the form of the Mount Vernon Project (MVP). MVP is a strategic initiative aimed at effecting change within the RNC by harnessing the enthusiasm and commitment of dedicated conservative leaders. The central goal of MVP is to identify and rally a new generation of passionate and unwavering conservative leaders who will challenge the status quo and work diligently to represent the values of everyday Americans.</span> </span></h3>
<h3><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">At the heart of the MVP&#8217;s mission is a deep commitment to revitalizing the Republican National Committee (RNC) from the inside out. The project&#8217;s approach is <strong>multifaceted</strong>, focusing on the <strong>recruitment and empowerment</strong> of genuine conservatives. The MVP aims to fill positions ranging from State Party Chair, National Committeeman, and National Committeewoman. These roles are strategically vital, and exert considerable influence over the party&#8217;s direction. </span> <span style="font-weight: 400;">Partnering with Turning Point Action&#8217;s robust Field Program, the Mount Vernon Project will undertake a comprehensive effort to identify, and recruit individuals who exemplify the highest standards of conservative leadership. The selection process will focus on identifying leaders who are not only competent and reliable but also genuinely<strong> dedicated to upholding conservative values.</strong> By identifying and nurturing such individuals, the project aims to forge a path for them to actively engage with the Republican Party machinery.</span> <span style="font-weight: 400;">At its heart, the Mount Vernon Project aims to support new conservative leaders in challenging the party&#8217;s status quo. This effort reflects the idea of standing up to the &#8220;Establishment,&#8221; seen as out of touch with regular Americans. By helping these committed grassroots conservatives gain influence, the project aims to balance the power and recommit to serving American interests first.</span></span></h3>
