One call begins the white-glove experience. The voter signs up, and the Ride to the Polls team takes it from there by finding the voter’s polling location, providing the relevant polling hours, and coordinating transportation to the polls and back home.

Two things are worth doing before you reserve a seat: check your voter registration and make a plan to vote. This page covers both, then gives pickup tips for the lake shore, the village and Auburn’s back roads.

What Happens Once an Auburn Voter Signs Up?

The track you ride on depends only on your age bracket. An Auburn voter aged 55 or older is collected at home by a trained driver and dropped off at the polling place.

An Auburn voter younger than 55 is sent a free Uber voucher to cover the trip. Reserving well ahead of November 3 gives dispatch room to get that voucher to you in time.

Many Auburn homes have voters in both brackets, like parents in their late 50s and a 20-year-old living at home. One call to 833-603-8683 can cover the whole household, and dispatch will tell each person which track applies.

Both tracks are free of charge, with no fare for the driver and no cost for the voucher.
