How does one call simplify a Claremont voting trip?

First, confirm your Claremont ward and polling place. Next, give dispatch your pickup and contact information. Finally, wait for confirmation before treating the trip as scheduled.

Requesting transportation takes three steps

The City of Claremont currently assigns voters to three wards. Wards 1 and 2 use the same school, while Ward 3 votes at a different location.

Claremont has three voting wards

Two wards share Claremont Middle School

Ward 3 voters use Disnard Elementary School at 160 Hanover Street. Use the full school name in the ride request so the destination cannot be confused with Claremont Middle School or another public building.

Follow temporary Election Day instructions when the vehicle reaches the property. If the drop-off point differs from the location expected in the confirmation, make sure the rider can safely reach the voting entrance.

A voter should not ask the driver to switch between polling places without contacting dispatch. Any destination change must first be verified through an official election source and then approved as part of the ride.
