The primary audience is voters 55 and over, but the completely free Ride to the Polls service is available to all Concord voters.

One call handles everything: the team finds the voter’s polling location, provides the relevant polling location hours, and coordinates the transportation details after the voter signs up.

Voters 55 and over receive a white-glove black car service that removes the hassle and uncertainty around traveling to a Concord polling place and returning home.

What happens after a Concord voter signs up?

Ride to the Polls serves Concord voters who need transportation to their assigned polling place. The service covers all 10 city wards, including Penacook, downtown Concord, South Main Street, and neighborhoods east and south of the city center.

Concord voters use one of two free ride tracks:

Concord includes downtown buildings, residential neighborhoods, senior communities, apartment complexes, and less concentrated roads in the outer wards. A complete pickup description helps dispatch and the assigned driver locate the correct entrance.

What pickup details should Concord riders provide?

Ward 4 votes at the Green Street Community Center near City Hall and Concord’s downtown government area. Other riders may travel through downtown streets on the way to polling locations elsewhere in the city.

If your pickup is at a downtown apartment, office, senior community, or building with several entrances, identify the exact door or curb area where you will wait. Street-facing and parking-lot entrances may be on different sides of the same property.

Traffic, State House activity, and temporary street conditions may affect travel through downtown. Review Concord’s official street-closures page and call dispatch if a closure affects your pickup point.

What should downtown Concord riders know?

Ward 1 voters travel to Merrimack Valley High School Gymnasium at 106 Village Street. The city directs voters to use the high school student parking lot.

Penacook and outer-ward pickups may involve longer distances or roads where house numbers and entrances are harder to see. Include the complete road name, nearest intersection, visible landmark, driveway description, and a backup contact number when appropriate.

If cell service is limited at your pickup address, tell dispatch before Election Day and write down the confirmed information. Additional guidance is available in Rides to the Polls in Rural New Hampshire.

What should Penacook and outer-ward riders know?

Three ward locations have specific parking or entrance notes in the city’s polling document:

What should riders know about Concord polling-place entrances?

Request the ride as soon as you know transportation is needed. An early request gives dispatch more time to coordinate the correct ward destination, ride track, pickup entrance, mobility needs, companions, and transportation home.

Dispatch confirms your pickup window when it confirms your ride.

Keep your phone available after submitting the request. Dispatch may need to clarify your ward, polling place, road directions, or rider needs.
