Ride to the Polls serves voters throughout Derry, including downtown, East Derry, the Route 28 corridor, and neighborhoods near the Londonderry, Chester, Hampstead, and Windham town lines.

The transportation you receive depends on your age:

– Call 833-603-8683 or submit the form at tpaction.com/ride with your name, phone number, and pickup address.

– The Ride to the Polls team finds your polling location, provides the relevant polling hours, and confirms whether you will receive black car service or an Uber voucher.

– On Election Day, you get your driver’s name and vehicle information, or your voucher.

Have your complete Derry address ready, including an apartment number, building name, entrance, or driveway description. Tell dispatch about any mobility equipment, service animal, companion, communication need, or return-trip requirement when you submit the request.

A family member, caregiver, spouse, or neighbor may help request transportation. The voter should know that the request is being made and agree to share the information dispatch needs.

How to request your ride

Derry has used one consolidated polling location for voters from across the town. Current local information identifies the following site:

Derry covers a broad area, and pickup conditions can vary considerably between downtown neighborhoods, apartment communities, busy state routes, and wooded residential roads.

Give dispatch an exact location where the driver can safely find you. Useful details may include:

Planning a Derry pickup

A consolidated polling site brings voters from across Derry to one location. Traffic may be heavier near the entrance as vehicles arrive, drop off passengers, park, and leave.

Your driver should follow the signs, cones, parking instructions, and directions from local staff on Election Day. If officials establish a passenger drop-off lane, the driver will use it as directed.

The entrance and traffic pattern may change for the election. Follow the signs posted at the site rather than relying on a previous visit. If you need extra time or a closer drop-off point, tell dispatch when requesting the ride.

When the vehicle arrives, be ready at the pickup location in your confirmation. Keep your phone nearby when possible, and contact dispatch before moving to a different entrance.

Parking, entrance, and the drop-off lane

Request your ride as soon as you know that transportation is needed. Derry’s consolidated polling location means dispatch may be coordinating riders arriving from neighborhoods across the town.

An early request gives dispatch more time to arrange:

Voters 55 and over receive door-to-door black car service with a trained driver. The team coordinates the pickup, trip to the polling location, and transportation home as part of a white-glove voting experience.
