The service is completely free and available to all voters, with special focus on voters 55 and over. The voter signs up once, and the Ride to the Polls team handles the transportation details, finds the voter’s polling location, and provides the relevant polling hours. For voters 55 and over, the white-glove experience includes black car pickup and removes much of the hassle and uncertainty of getting to the polls.

What can one call arrange for a Hollis voter?

Hollis voters will travel to one general election location

Give dispatch the complete destination: Hollis Brookline High School, 24 Cavalier Court, Hollis, New Hampshire.

Avoid shortening the name to “Hollis High School” or entering only “the high school.” The complete name helps distinguish it from other schools and properties in the Hollis and Brookline area.

A school campus may have several driveways, parking areas, and doors. On Election Day, the entrance used by voters may differ from the entrance used during a regular school day. Follow the temporary signs and instructions present at the property.

When you arrive, notice where passenger pickups are being directed. This can make it easier to find the confirmed private driver or arrange the return Uber trip after voting.

Make Cavalier Court clear in the request

Ride to the Polls uses age to identify the standard transportation option.

Private-driver rides for voters 55 and over

A Hollis voter who is 55 or older normally receives a free door-to-door ride with a trained private driver. The confirmation provides the approved pickup information and explains the return arrangement.

This option does not require an Uber account or smartphone. Learn more in Door-to-Door Rides for New Hampshire Voters 55 and Over.

Uber vouchers for voters under 55

A voter under 55 normally receives a free Uber voucher. Dispatch supplies the redemption instructions after approving the request.

The voter uses the voucher for transportation to and from the polling place. Nearby Uber availability can vary, so the voucher should be requested before Election Day. Review Free Uber Vouchers to Vote in New Hampshire before using this option.

Choose the transportation track that applies to the voter

Call 833-603-8683 or use Request Your Free Ride Online. Have the following details ready:

– Voter’s full name

– Voter’s age

– Working telephone number

– Complete Hollis pickup address

– Hollis Brookline High School as the confirmed destination

– Preferred pickup time

– Relevant driveway or entrance directions

– Mobility equipment or communication needs

– Name of any companion traveling

– Need for transportation home

Tell dispatch whether confirmation should be delivered by call or another available method. Keep the provided telephone nearby because dispatch may need to clarify the address or trip details.

Submitting the form opens the request. Transportation is scheduled only after dispatch confirms the ride, pickup information, and applicable service track.

Request the Hollis trip in one submission

Hollis includes farms, orchards, wooded properties, historic buildings, residential developments, and homes near the Amherst, Brookline, Nashua, and Massachusetts boundaries. The following details can help dispatch understand the pickup without creating multiple road-specific sections:

For a rural home, describe the driveway, visible mailbox, nearby intersection, or landmark. Mention a shared entrance or limited turning space.

For a farm or orchard property, identify the residential entrance rather than providing only the business name.

For a property near a town boundary, include Hollis, New Hampshire, and the full ZIP code so the ride is not routed toward Brookline, Nashua, or Massachusetts.

For an apartment or senior community, provide the property name, building number, lobby, buzzer instructions, and a safe passenger area.

For an address that maps incorrectly, explain the error when requesting the ride and wait for dispatch to approve the pickup point.

Do not ask a vehicle to stop in an active travel lane. A different meeting place should be used only when the voter can reach it safely and dispatch has confirmed the change.

Pickup notes for Hollis

Tell dispatch about a wheelchair, walker, cane, service animal, vision need, hearing need, or extra boarding time when submitting the request.

For a wheelchair, state whether it folds and whether the voter needs to remain in it during travel. If a companion will assist the voter, include the companion’s name and any equipment that will travel with them.

Vehicle features and assistance are not guaranteed merely because an accessibility need appears in the form. Dispatch must review the information and confirm the arrangement.

Additional guidance is available on the Wheelchair-Accessible Rides in New Hampshire page.

Include accessibility information at the beginning

A spouse, family member, caregiver, friend, or neighbor may submit the request for a Hollis voter. The voter must know that the ride is being arranged.

Use the voter’s name, age, pickup location, and polling destination. If the coordinator’s telephone number is provided, explain who owns the number and how ride information will reach the voter.

The rider should receive the final pickup time, driver or voucher information, destination, and instructions for returning home. Read How to Book a Ride for a Parent, Spouse, or Neighbor for the full process.

Someone else can coordinate the transportation

Ask for transportation home in the original request. Dispatch should confirm the return arrangement before the voter relies on the service.

Private-driver riders must follow the meeting instructions included in their confirmation. The driver may wait or use another approved return process, depending on the confirmed arrangement.

Uber-voucher riders should review how the voucher applies to the return trip before leaving home. Check the pickup point at Hollis Brookline High School and verify the driver and vehicle shown in the app.

If voting takes longer than expected, contact dispatch. Do not assume the driver knows that the voter is delayed. The Election Day Ride Timeline explains what to do when timing or transportation plans change.

Confirm the outbound and return trips together

A confirmed request should identify the pickup address, polling destination, transportation track, timing, contact method, and trip home.

Private-driver riders also receive the driver’s first name and vehicle details. Compare that information with the person and vehicle that arrive. Stay out of a vehicle that does not match the confirmation.

Uber riders should compare the driver, vehicle, and license plate displayed for the approved trip.

If any part of the confirmation is missing or incorrect, call 833-603-8683 before Election Day. Do not submit another form unless dispatch instructs you to do so.

Know when the ride is officially confirmed

Review the official polling location and the transportation confirmation. Charge the telephone used for updates, place mobility equipment near the confirmed entrance, and keep the dispatch number available.

If weather, road work, or another issue makes the pickup point difficult to access, report the problem before the arrival window.

You can also make a plan to vote and review Register to Vote. Official state and town resources provide election information, while Ride to the Polls coordinates transportation.
