The voter only needs to sign up, and the Ride to the Polls team takes it from there. The team finds the voter’s polling location, provides the relevant polling hours, and coordinates a white-glove ride that removes the hassle and uncertainty from getting to the polls and returning home.

What Does One Call Arrange for a Laconia Voter?

Which Laconia Ward Determines Your Polling Destination?

Give dispatch the ward number, facility name, and full street address. A shortened building name may not provide enough information for navigation.

Ward 1 requests should include the complete church name and 1244 Old North Main Street. Ward 2 riders should specify St. Andre Bessette Parish Hall rather than entering only the parish name.

For Ward 3, retain the Multipurpose Room reference with Laconia Middle School. Ward 4 requests should include both parts of the facility name because the city lists New Covenant Church at Memorial Park Clubhouse.

Ward 5 voters should identify the Woodland Heights Elementary School gymnasium. Ward 6 riders should use Leavitt Park Club House and the Elm Street address.

At every location, follow the voter entrance and passenger directions displayed for November 3.

How Should Each Ward Location Be Entered?

Laconia includes downtown properties, Lakeport, the Weirs area, school neighborhoods, senior communities, apartment buildings, and homes along major local roads. Each pickup should identify a practical place where the vehicle can find the rider.

Downtown Laconia

A downtown rider should provide the building name and specify the entrance or parking area being used. Street-facing doors and rear parking entrances may be on different sides of the property.

The Weirs and Old North Main Street

Verify the complete Laconia address and avoid selecting an unsafe roadside meeting point. Hotels, seasonal properties, and condominium buildings may require a property name, unit number, or lobby description.

Union Avenue and Gilford Avenue

For a pickup near a busy route, choose a driveway or parking area where the vehicle can leave the traffic lane. Include the property name when several businesses or buildings share an entrance.

Apartments and senior communities

Provide the property name, building, unit, lobby, and call-box directions. If the rider’s home is difficult to see, add a mailbox description, nearby landmark, or driveway detail.

What Makes Laconia Pickup Planning Different?

Place the complete trip information in one record before contacting dispatch.

Include:

– The voter’s full name and age

– A working telephone number

– The complete Laconia pickup address

– The voter’s ward number

– The polling-place name and address

– The preferred departure time

– The entrance where the rider will wait

– Relevant mobility or communication information

– The name of any companion

– Confirmation that transportation home is needed

If another person will receive updates, identify that person and explain how the information will reach the voter.

What Information Should Laconia Riders Prepare?

Ride to the Polls provides two free transportation tracks.

Door-to-door rides for voters 55 and over

A Laconia voter who is 55 or older gets a free door-to-door ride with a trained private driver. The rider can receive trip information by telephone and does not need to manage an Uber trip.

Details appear in the door-to-door ride guide.

Uber vouchers for voters under 55

A Laconia voter under 55 gets a free Uber voucher. The rider should review the redemption instructions, confirm access to the app, and check the pickup and ward destination before requesting the vehicle.

The Uber voucher instructions explain how this track works.

Use Private Driver or Uber Voucher to compare the two options.

How Does Age Determine the Laconia Ride Track?

1. Call 833-603-8683 or use Request Your Free Ride Online to provide the voter’s contact details, Laconia pickup point, ward, polling destination, and return-trip needs.

2. Dispatch reviews the information, confirms the transportation, and assigns the private-driver or Uber-voucher track.

3. On Election Day, the confirmed driver arrives or the voter follows the supplied voucher instructions.

Submitting the request starts the process but does not reserve transportation. Wait for dispatch to provide the confirmed trip details.

Do not submit another form for the same rider unless dispatch requests it. Call 833-603-8683 to update the existing request.

How Do You Request a Laconia Ride?

Treat the confirmation as the final trip record. It should identify:

– The voter’s name and telephone number

– The Laconia pickup address

– The voter’s ward

– The complete polling-place destination

– The meeting point

– The assigned transportation track

– The approved time or arrival window

– The transportation-home instructions

Compare the destination with the official ward result. Contact dispatch if any detail differs.

A private-driver rider should retain the identifying information for the assigned person and vehicle. An Uber-voucher rider should review the app instructions and compare the arriving vehicle with the displayed information.

What Should the Laconia Confirmation Contain?

Ask dispatch to include transportation home when making the first request. The return instructions depend on whether the rider receives a private driver or an Uber voucher.

Notice the designated passenger area after arriving at the polling place. The voter should return to the confirmed meeting location after voting.

If a long line changes the expected timing, call 833-603-8683 rather than leaving the property or choosing another pickup point.

The Election Day ride guide covers delays, cancellations, and changed addresses.

How Is the Return From the Ward Location Handled?

A spouse, relative, caregiver, friend, or neighbor may submit the request with the voter’s knowledge.

Every ride detail should describe the voter and the voter’s journey. The coordinator should make sure the rider receives the confirmed ward, pickup information, transportation track, and return instructions.

Use How to Book a Ride for a Parent, Spouse, or Neighbor to prepare the necessary information.

Can a Trusted Person Organize the Laconia Trip?

Review the official ward and polling destination again before Election Day. Keep the confirmation and 833-603-8683 available until the rider returns home.

The voter should be ready at the approved entrance with any mobility equipment and personal belongings. Report a different address, entrance, companion, or destination to dispatch before pickup.

Use make a plan to vote for Election Day preparation and Register to Vote for registration resources.
