The primary audience is voters 55 and over, but the completely free Ride to the Polls service is available to all Manchester voters.

One call handles everything: after the voter signs up, the team finds the voter’s polling location, provides the relevant polling location hours, and coordinates the transportation details.

For voters 55 and over, the black car service provides a white-glove voting experience designed to remove the hassle and uncertainty around getting to the polls and returning home.

What does Ride to the Polls handle for Manchester voters?

Ride to the Polls serves Manchester voters who need transportation to their assigned polling place. The service covers all 12 city wards and their polling locations.

Manchester voters use one of two free ride tracks:

Voters 55 and over receive free black car service with a trained driver.

Voters under 55 receive a free Uber voucher.

A family member, caregiver, spouse, or neighbor may request transportation for another voter. The voter should know that the ride is being arranged, and dispatch will need the rider’s correct contact, pickup, and polling-place information.
