The voter only needs to sign up once. Ride to the Polls takes it from there by helping find the voter’s polling location, providing the relevant polling-location hours, confirming the transportation track, and arranging the trip to the polls and back home.

The service provides a white-glove voting experience designed to remove the hassle and uncertainty of Election Day transportation. Voters 55 and over are the primary audience and receive black car service, but free transportation is available to voters of every age through the two ride tracks.

What Does Ride to the Polls Handle After You Call?

Where Do Milford Voters Go in Hillsborough County?

The voter’s age determines which Ride to the Polls track applies.

Door-to-door transportation for voters 55 and over

A Milford voter who is 55 or older gets a free door-to-door ride with a trained private driver. This track does not require an Uber account or rideshare app.

Details are available in Door-to-Door Rides for New Hampshire Voters 55 and Over.

Free Uber vouchers for voters under 55

A Milford voter under 55 gets a free Uber voucher. The rider should review the redemption instructions and make sure the Uber app can be accessed before Election Day.

Read Free Uber Vouchers to Vote in New Hampshire for more information about using the voucher.

Which Ride Track Fits a Milford Voter?

Milford combines a compact downtown with commercial corridors, school properties, residential developments, and roads outside the town center. A mailing address may not tell the driver exactly where the rider will be waiting.

Around the Milford Oval

The Oval is surrounded by businesses, offices, residences, parking areas, and streets approaching from several directions. Name the building and explain whether the rider will wait at a particular entrance, parking area, or visible landmark.

Select a place where the vehicle can stop safely. If the original meeting point becomes unavailable, call dispatch before moving elsewhere.

Along Nashua Street and Route 101A

Stores, restaurants, medical offices, apartment buildings, and other properties along this corridor may share large parking areas. Include the property name, building, and entrance instead of relying on the street number alone.

An Uber-voucher rider should check the pickup pin before confirming the trip. The pin should indicate the correct side of the property rather than a rear entrance or neighboring road.

Near West Street and Milford High School

West Street connects central Milford with Milford High School and nearby neighborhoods. If the high school is confirmed as the voter’s destination, follow the Election Day traffic signs and passenger directions displayed at the property.

The voter entrance may differ from the entrance used during regular school operations. Before entering the building, notice where passenger pickups are taking place for the return trip.

Outside central Milford

A home on a wooded or less concentrated road may require a driveway description, mailbox detail, nearby intersection, or recognizable landmark. Tell dispatch about shared entrances, private roads, gates, mapping errors, or unreliable cellular service.

Use a shared meeting point only after dispatch confirms it and the voter knows how to reach it safely.

Turn a Milford Address Into a Clear Pickup Point

Prepare the trip details before contacting Ride to the Polls. Dispatch needs enough information to understand the rider, pickup point, destination, timing, and return plan.

Have these details ready:

– The voter’s full name and age

– A working telephone number

– The complete Milford pickup address

– The polling-place name and address from the official lookup

– The preferred departure time

– The entrance or meeting point

– Relevant mobility or communication information

– The name of any companion

– Confirmation that transportation home is needed

If another person is arranging the ride, explain whether dispatch should contact the voter, the coordinator, or both.

A preferred time remains a request until it appears in the confirmed transportation details.

What Should the First Milford Request Include?

1. Call 833-603-8683 or complete the online request form with the voter’s contact information, Milford pickup point, official polling destination, and return-trip needs.

2. Dispatch reviews the information, confirms the trip, and assigns the private-driver or Uber-voucher track.

3. On November 3, the confirmed driver arrives or the voter uses the voucher according to the supplied Election Day instructions.

Use the voter’s information even when a family member, caregiver, or neighbor completes the request.

Do not submit another form for the same voter unless dispatch asks for it. Call 833-603-8683 to correct or update an existing request.

How Do You Put a Milford Ride Request in Motion?

Submitting a request does not schedule transportation by itself. The trip is confirmed when dispatch provides the approved arrangement.

Review the confirmation for:

– The rider’s name and telephone number

– The Milford pickup address

– The correct entrance or meeting point

– The polling-place destination

– The assigned transportation track

– The departure time or arrival window

– Companion and mobility information

– The transportation-home instructions

A private-driver rider should also receive details for identifying the driver and vehicle. If the arriving person or vehicle does not match, remain outside and contact dispatch.

An Uber-voucher rider should review the pickup address, destination, voucher instructions, and return process before requesting the vehicle.

How Can You Tell When the Milford Trip Is Confirmed?

A different entrance, address, telephone number, companion, time, or polling place may affect the confirmed transportation.

Call 833-603-8683 and explain what appeared in the original confirmation and what needs to be corrected. Continue using the existing plan until dispatch provides an updated arrangement.

Do not rely on a change communicated only to a driver. Dispatch should have the revised information connected to the rider’s request.

The Election Day Ride Timeline provides additional guidance about delays, cancellations, and revised pickup details.

What Should Change When the Milford Plan Changes?

The Milford transportation request should include both directions. Tell dispatch during the first contact that the voter also needs transportation home.

Private-driver riders should follow the meeting instructions included in their confirmation. Uber-voucher riders should keep the information needed to arrange the return portion of the trip.

A long voting line can affect the expected return time. Contact dispatch when a delay becomes clear rather than assuming the transportation provider has received the update.

Connect the Outbound Ride With the Journey Home

A family member, spouse, caregiver, friend, or neighbor may submit the request with the voter’s knowledge.

The coordinator should provide the voter’s details and explain who should receive telephone updates. Before November 3, make sure the rider understands the approved pickup point, timing, polling destination, transportation track, and return plan.

When Someone Else Organizes the Milford Trip

Review the official polling destination again before leaving home. Keep the confirmation, destination address, and dispatch number together.

The rider should be ready at the approved entrance with any mobility equipment and personal belongings. Charge the telephone used for updates before the pickup window begins.

Voters can make a plan to vote that includes their transportation schedule. Voter-registration resources are available through Register to Vote.
