What Happens After a Pelham Voter Signs Up?

Where Do Pelham Voters Go in Hillsborough County?

The voter’s age determines the Ride to the Polls transportation track.

A trained private driver for voters 55 and over

Pelham voters who are 55 or older get a free door-to-door ride with a trained private driver. This option can be coordinated by telephone and does not require an Uber account.

The private-driver overview explains what riders should know before Election Day.

A free Uber voucher for voters under 55

Pelham voters under 55 get a free Uber voucher. The rider should review the redemption instructions, confirm access to the app, and check the pickup and destination addresses.

Read the Uber voucher instructions before November 3.

The Private Driver or Uber Voucher guide compares the two transportation tracks.

Which Free Ride Does a Pelham Voter Receive?

A complete transportation plan connects the rider’s meeting point, official polling place, and return destination.

Choose the pickup point

Give dispatch the complete Pelham street address and a practical place where the vehicle can stop. Include the property name, unit, entrance, gate instructions, or a visible landmark when needed.

The voter must be able to reach the meeting point safely. Avoid selecting the shoulder of a busy road or another place that would require the vehicle to block traffic.

Verify the voting destination

Copy the polling-place name and address from the official state lookup into the request. If Pelham High School is confirmed, follow the Election Day signs before selecting an entrance or passenger area.

School properties may use separate routes for parking, passenger drop-off, and accessible access. Follow the instructions displayed at the site rather than relying on an entrance used during another event.

Include the return address

Tell dispatch during the first contact that the voter also needs transportation home. Review where the rider should wait after voting and how a delay inside the polling place should be reported.

What Local Details Can Affect a Pelham Pickup?

Collect the complete trip information before calling or opening the form.

Provide:

– The voter’s full name and age

– A telephone number that will be answered

– The complete Pelham pickup address

– The polling-place name and address from the official lookup

– The preferred departure time

– The exact entrance or meeting point

– Relevant mobility or communication information

– The name of any companion

– Confirmation that transportation home is needed

When a relative, caregiver, or neighbor is coordinating the ride, explain whether dispatch should contact the voter, the coordinator, or both.

What Information Should Be Ready for Dispatch?

1. Call 833-603-8683 or submit the online request form with the voter’s contact details, Pelham pickup location, official polling destination, and return-trip information.

2. Dispatch reviews the request, confirms the arrangement, and assigns the private-driver or Uber-voucher track.

3. On Election Day, the confirmed driver arrives or the voter follows the supplied Uber-voucher instructions.

Submitting the request begins the process but does not reserve transportation. Wait for dispatch to provide the confirmed pickup, timing, ride track, and return details.

Do not create another request for the same voter unless dispatch asks for a new form. Call 833-603-8683 to update the existing submission.

How Do You Send a Pelham Ride Request?

The confirmation should identify the accepted pickup point, polling destination, transportation track, timing, and return arrangement.

Check that it includes:

– The voter’s name and contact number

– The Pelham pickup address

– The approved entrance or meeting point

– The assigned polling place

– The private-driver or Uber-voucher track

– The departure time or arrival window

– Companion and mobility information

– Instructions for transportation home

A private-driver rider should also receive information for identifying the driver and vehicle. If the arriving details do not match, remain outside and contact dispatch.

An Uber-voucher rider should compare the vehicle with the information displayed in the app before entering.

How Will the Pelham Rider Know the Trip Is Confirmed?

A family member, spouse, caregiver, friend, or neighbor may help with the voter’s knowledge. The request should identify the person taking the ride, even when someone else completes the form.

The coordinator should pass along every confirmed detail, including where the voter will wait, which transportation track applies, and what happens after voting.

Review How to Book a Ride for a Parent, Spouse, or Neighbor for the information to collect.

When Someone Else Manages the Pelham Arrangement

Call 833-603-8683 when the rider’s address, entrance, schedule, companion, telephone number, or polling destination changes.

Explain what appeared in the original confirmation and what needs to be corrected. Continue using the confirmed plan until dispatch approves the update.

Do not depend on a message sent only to the driver. Dispatch should have the revised information connected to the rider’s request.

The Election Day delays and changes guide explains what to do when timing or transportation is disrupted.

What Should You Do if the Pelham Plan Changes?

Compare the official polling place with the destination in the ride confirmation shortly before leaving. Keep 833-603-8683 and the return instructions available.

Private-driver riders should match the arriving person and vehicle with the identifying information they received. Uber-voucher riders should compare the app details with the vehicle at the pickup point.
