Ride to the Polls gives eligible New Hampshire voters under 55 an Uber voucher for Election Day transportation. One call handles everything: you sign up, and our team takes it from there.

The voucher is intended for the approved trip between the voter’s pickup address and assigned polling place. Dispatch provides the voucher and the instructions needed to apply it in the Uber app.

Read the instructions before Election Day. Voucher value, trip limits, eligible ride types, and the redemption period must follow the terms supplied with the approved voucher.

How Does the Free Uber Voucher Work?

Call now 833-603-8683 or submit the form at tpaction.com/ride with your name, phone, pickup address, and polling place.

Dispatch confirms your ride and your track (private driver or Uber voucher), along with your polling location and its hours.

On Election Day, you get your driver’s name and vehicle, or your voucher.

How to request your ride

Prepare the request before calling or opening the form.

Dispatch needs accurate information for the voter who will use the voucher. Do not submit the request under another person’s name or use another voter’s age to receive a different Ride to the Polls track.

Have the following ready:

The voter’s full name

The voter’s age

A working telephone number

The complete pickup address

The assigned polling place

The preferred travel time

A request for transportation home

Helpful directions if the pickup is difficult to locate

Confirm Your Polling Place First

Use the official New Hampshire voter lookup to find the polling place connected to your registration and residential address.

Copy the complete polling-place name and address into the request. Ride to the Polls provides transportation to the destination listed in the confirmed request. It does not assign polling places. Not sure where you vote? Our team will find your polling location and share its hours when confirming your ride.

You can also review the New Hampshire polling-place guide.

Check the official page again before Election Day. If the destination changes after the voucher is approved, contact dispatch before booking the trip.

Use a Reliable Telephone Number

Provide a telephone number you can access before and on Election Day. Dispatch may need to clarify the request or send voucher information.

If someone else is helping you, explain whether dispatch should contact the voter or the person coordinating the transportation.

What Information Do You Need to Request a Voucher?

Submitting the form begins the request process. Wait for dispatch to review the information and confirm the Uber voucher tracking.

A submitted request is not the same as an approved voucher. Do not rely on the transportation until you receive the voucher and instructions.

Review the Confirmation

When the information arrives, check:

– The voter’s name

– The pickup address

– The polling-place destination

– The voucher instructions

– The applicable trip information

– The return-trip directions

– The method for contacting dispatch

Report any error promptly.

Read the Voucher Terms

The instructions should explain how and when the voucher can be used. Review them before trying to arrange the trip.

Do not guess the voucher value, eligible ride type, or redemption period. Use the terms provided with the approved voucher.

If anything is unclear, contact dispatch before Election Day.

What Happens After You Request the Voucher?

Open the Uber app and follow the redemption instructions supplied by Ride to the Polls.

The exact screens can vary depending on the app version and the type of voucher issued. Use the link, code, or account instructions included with your voucher rather than searching for a general promotion.

After applying it, confirm that the voucher appears in your Uber account before Election Day.

Check the Pickup and Destination

When booking the ride, review both addresses carefully.

The pickup should match the location submitted to dispatch. The destination should match the official polling place listed in the approved request.

Large apartment communities, college campuses, shopping areas, and rural properties may have several possible pickup points. Use the location included in the request and add clear directions in the Uber app when needed.

Keep the Voucher Information Available

Do not delete the message containing the voucher or redemption instructions. Keep it available until the trip to the polling place and the return arrangement are complete.

If the voucher does not appear in the app, contact dispatch before requesting a paid ride.

How Do You Apply the Voucher in the Uber App?

The Ride to the Polls Uber voucher is for a ride to and from the polling place. Follow the return-trip instructions supplied with the voucher.

Before leaving home, confirm how the return ride should be booked. Do not wait until the polling-place visit is complete to review the instructions.

When planning the return:

– Confirm the pickup point at the polling place.

– Keep your telephone charged.

– Keep the voucher instructions available.

– Follow the approved booking process.

– Contact dispatch if the return instructions are unclear.

The time spent at a polling place can vary. Book the return trip according to the instructions rather than assuming a fixed departure time.

Does the Voucher Cover the Ride Home?

Uber availability depends on location, time, and the drivers using the platform. A voucher does not create an immediate Uber pickup.

If no driver accepts the trip, follow the instructions provided by dispatch. Do not repeatedly change the pickup address or polling-place destination without approval.

Contact dispatch and provide:

– The voter’s name

– The approved pickup address

– The polling-place destination

– The approximate time the ride was requested

– The issue shown in the Uber app

If Uber does not operate where you live, dispatch assigns a driver instead. Wait for dispatch to confirm the replacement transportation before treating it as scheduled.

Voters in areas with limited rideshare coverage should review Rides to the Polls in Rural New Hampshire.

What If No Uber Driver Accepts the Ride?

Use the voucher only under the terms supplied with it.

Do not assume that an Uber voucher can be transferred to Lyft, another transportation company, or a different Uber product. The approved ride type should appear in the voucher instructions.

If the option displayed in your app differs from the instructions, contact dispatch before booking.

The voucher should not be sold, shared, exchanged for cash, or used for a trip unrelated to the confirmed polling-place transportation.

Can You Use the Voucher for Lyft or Another Uber Option?

The Uber voucher tracking normally requires access to the Uber app. Tell dispatch during the request if you do not have the app or cannot use it.

Do not wait until Election Day to report the issue. Dispatch needs time to review the request and explain what can be confirmed.

A friend or relative may help you understand the request process, but the voucher and ride information should match the voter who needs transportation.

If someone else is helping arrange the trip, read How to Book a Ride to the Polls for a Parent, Spouse, or Neighbor (No Smartphone Needed).

What If You Do Not Have the Uber App?

Request the voucher early and provide a complete pickup address.

Include a building number, apartment or unit, nearby landmark, road name, or safe meeting point when needed. Tell dispatch if online maps do not identify the property correctly.

Uber coverage may be thinner outside larger towns and cities. Check the app before Election Day, but remember that current availability does not guarantee a driver at a later time.

What If You Live in a Rural Area?

An eligible New Hampshire voter under 55 can submit a Ride to the Polls request using the correct pickup address and assigned polling place.

A campus may have several entrances, residence halls, and rideshare pickup zones. Include a precise meeting point rather than entering only the name of the college.

Students can review Group Rides to the Polls for New Hampshire College Students for campus transportation information.

Can College Students Request an Uber Voucher?

Same-day requests depend on remaining capacity, local Uber availability, location, distance, and the time the request is submitted.

Contact dispatch as soon as you know you need transportation. Have your name, telephone number, pickup address, and official polling place ready.
