Call Now: 833-603-8683 or submit the form at tpaction.com/ride with your name, phone number, Rochester pickup address and ward polling place.

Dispatch confirms the ride and whether you are on the private-driver track or the Uber-voucher track, along with your polling location and its hours. One call handles everything: you sign up, and our team takes it from there.

By Election Day, you have your driver’s name and vehicle, or your voucher.

Use the address you will be standing at when the car arrives. If your home, apartment building or senior residence has more than one entrance, tell dispatch which one.

Rochester ride requests in three steps

The Rochester City Clerk keeps a ward-by-street directory and a citywide ward map that shows ward boundaries and polling locations. The directory is the quickest way to match your street to a ward.

Use the city tools first, then confirm with the state lookup. If you moved within Rochester, do not assume your old polling place still applies; your new street may be in a different ward.

If the official information changes after your ride is confirmed, call dispatch so dispatch has the new destination before pickup.

Finding your ward with the City Clerk’s street directory and map

Ward 1 voters are listed at Salmon Falls School, 753 Salmon Falls Road, in East Rochester.

If the lookup confirms Ward 1, give dispatch the Salmon Falls Road address and keep it with your confirmation.

If your East Rochester home has several buildings or entrances, describe your meeting point when you book, and call dispatch if it changes later.

Ward 1 in East Rochester: Salmon Falls School

Ward 2 is listed at Chamberlain Street School, 65 Chamberlain Street.

Check the address when dispatch confirms your ride. In a six-ward city, another polling place should never stand in for yours just because it is closer.

If you live in an apartment, condominium or senior residence, give the building and unit number so the driver finds the right door.

Ward 2 at Chamberlain Street School

Ward 3 votes at Gonic Elementary School, 10 Railroad Avenue, in the Gonic village area of Rochester.

Gonic is a familiar name, but let the official lookup confirm your ward before you book. Compare your confirmation with Railroad Avenue and call dispatch if they differ.

Ward 3 in Gonic: Gonic Elementary School

Ward 4 is listed at McClelland Elementary School, 59 Brock Street.

Keep the street number with your ride details rather than just the school name. If you are being picked up from a workplace or a building with several entrances, tell dispatch exactly where you will wait.

Ward 4 at McClelland Elementary School on Brock Street

Ward 5 votes at the James W. Foley Memorial Community Center, 150 Wakefield Street, which is also where the Rochester City Clerk’s Office is located.

Even if you visit the Community Center often, include the full address in your booking so it matches the current official polling information.

Ward 5 at the Foley Community Center on Wakefield Street

Ward 6 is listed at Elks Lodge #1393, 295 Columbus Avenue.

Ward lines mean neighbors in nearby parts of the city may vote in different places. If your confirmation shows anything other than Columbus Avenue for Ward 6, check the state lookup and call dispatch.

Rochester, known as the Lilac City, stretches from its downtown along the Cocheco River out to the villages of Gonic and East Rochester and to rural roads farther from the center. Voters may start their trips from any of these places.

The best booking has an exact pickup address, a phone number you will answer, and the polling place for your ward. For a property with more than one building, include the building name or number.

If you will be picked up somewhere other than home, give that address. The ride starts where you are waiting, not at the address on your registration.

Review your pickup details once the ride is confirmed, and call dispatch before Election Day if they need to change.

Pickups across Rochester: downtown, Gonic and East Rochester

Before Election Day, compare the polling place in the official lookup with the destination on your Ride to the Polls confirmation.

If they do not match, contact dispatch at [phone] before pickup, with the correct address in front of you so you are both working from the same information.

Give your complete Rochester pickup address and your ward polling place when you book.

Riders under 55 are given a free Uber voucher that covers the trip to the polls and back. Free Uber Vouchers to Vote in New Hampshire: How They Work explains how it works.

Confirm your ward before booking so the voucher is set up for the right destination.

A ride booking and voter registration are handled separately. Ride to the Polls arranges the ride; the City of Rochester and the State of New Hampshire manage registration.

To register, or for voter registration information, go to Register to Vote. The state lookup then shows whether you are registered and which ward polling place you are assigned.

Locally, the Rochester City Clerk’s Office at the Foley Community Center, 150 Wakefield Street, handles voter registration, and the Supervisors of the Checklist hold sessions before elections to add new voters and update records.

A move within Rochester can change both your registration address and your ward. Look at both before November 3, and check the official page for what applies to you.
