Call Now: 833-603-8683 or submit the form at tpaction.com/ride, with your name, a phone number you can be reached on, your town, pickup location and polling place.

Dispatch confirms your ride and your track, private driver or Uber voucher, along with your polling location and its hours. One call handles everything: you sign up, and our team takes it from there.

Before November 3, you receive your driver’s name and vehicle, or your voucher.

A request is not a confirmed ride. Plan around the trip only once dispatch confirms it.

Book a rural ride in three steps

A rural trip usually means longer distances, fewer available drivers nearby and more time for dispatch to plan the route. That is why rural voters should book as soon as they know they need a ride, rather than waiting until the week of the election.

There is no fixed number of days required, but earlier is always better. An early request gives dispatch time to review your pickup location, ask any follow-up questions, match you with a driver and confirm the return trip.

Same-day requests depend on remaining capacity, and that is hardest to find on long rural routes. If you already know you will need a ride on November 3, request it now.

Describing your pickup

Neighbors on the same road can ask to meet at one pickup point, such as the end of a shared private road, a church lot or a general store. A shared point can make it easier for a driver to find several riders on a quiet road.

Each voter still makes their own request with their own name, phone number and polling place, since neighbors may vote in different places or be on different ride tracks. Do not count on a shared car or a shared meeting point until dispatch confirms it.

Shared pickup points

Voters under 55 normally receive a free Uber voucher. In many rural towns Uber does not operate or has very few drivers, especially early in the morning or late in the day.

Where Uber does not operate, voters under 55 are assigned a driver instead of a voucher. You do not need to arrange this yourself. Tell dispatch your town and pickup location when you book, and dispatch confirms which ride you will get.

Voters 55 and over always ride with a trained driver, so Uber coverage does not affect them. Which Ride You Get explains both tracks, and the door-to-door driver for voters 55 and over page covers the private-driver ride in more detail.

When Uber is not available

Rural roads can be affected by weather, mud season conditions, road work or a closed bridge. If something prevents the driver from reaching your pickup point, call dispatch right away rather than walking to a different spot on your own.

Dispatch can review the situation and arrange an alternative where possible, such as a nearby meeting point that is easier to reach or a different time. Agree on any change with dispatch before you move.

If an Uber trip is not accepted, follow the instructions that came with your voucher and contact dispatch. Do not keep changing the pickup or destination in the app.

Keep your confirmation, the dispatch number and your polling place address together on Election Day, and have a phone you can answer close by.

Backup plan

Look up the polling place for your current address on the NH Secretary of State voter lookup and give dispatch its name and full address. In rural areas, the nearest polling place may belong to a neighboring town, so use the one assigned to your own address. Not sure where you vote? Our team will find your polling location and share its hours when confirming your ride.

Registration questions go to your town clerk and the Supervisors of the Checklist. Start at Register to Vote and build the ride into your plan to vote.
