The "Improving Law Enforcement Officer Safety and Wellness Through Data Act" directs the Attorney General to develop and submit multiple reports to Congress regarding violence against law enforcement officers, aggressive actions against law enforcement, and the mental health and wellness of law enforcement personnel. These reports will include data analysis, surveys, and recommendations for improving federal, state, and local responses and training programs. The Act also calls for analysis of existing programs such as the Bulletproof Vest Partnership and seeks to improve data collection and reporting related to law enforcement safety and well-being. Furthermore, the act emphasizes the importance of providing Federal resources to Federal, State, and local law enforcement officers. Finally, it seeks ways to improve the mental health and wellness of law enforcement officers at the Federal, State, and local levels.1
