SB177

Foreign Political Activity Transparency Act

Date of Vote: March 4, 2025

Chamber of Origin: Senate

Requires anyone working on behalf of a foreign country or foreign-funded political group to register with the state and publicly disclose who they're working for and what they’re doing. This is meant to stop hidden foreign influence in Georgia politics by making that kind of activity visible to the public and government.1
